One that matters: The chess set

When I was growing up, I remember playing chess against my dad after dinner and competing in my primary schools annual chess competition. I grew up on that game and while I cannot say that I play quite as much as I used to, I still find myself coming back to it time and time again. It is one of those games that will be played for centuries to come. Sadly, chess sets are becoming less popular in the average household. When I was growing up, just 10 years ago, every house I visited had a quality chess set. It is a real shame that the traditional playing board is losing out in favour of computer versions, but the game has remained the same.
